I was looking for a bag that would work for surf fishing. I fly fish as well and this bag would be good for that too. I was hesitant because of the low price, but pleasantly surprised how well thought out this pack is designed. One more pocket would've been too much, one less would've been too little. It's almost as if I had designed it. From the first day, I knew where everything was, and if it was on me walking out to the beach. I wear it over my left shoulder and it works amazing. An iPhone will not fit in the phone pocket, but I wouldn't use that for a phone anyway. I always use a lanyard and put it in the main pocket.
